PC-Cillin

I have decided to blog in English and Turkish. I like Turkish, my native language. I feel anyone should use their native languages well. I used to think that I was good in using Turkish. But since I am away from Turkey and people who speak Turkish I realise it is deteroriating. So: this blog will have another function from now on -in addition to improve my English- I will keep my Turkish sharp :) Fair enough.
I will start with English and post the Turkish text in the same body text.

My first PC was a Commodore 64. Everone knows that it is just a legendary computer. I have learned BASIC programming with it. My first steps in computing world :) Hours of playing as well :D I remember occupying the TV for hours and annoying everyone at home, except my dad :) That resulted in buying my first monitor, a Commodore monitor. It was great. I still have it and it works perfectly well. It is a second TV at home now, with a tuner of course. I will mention about my Commodore games later, I must :)

Second one was an Acer Aspire :) I basically learned quite a lot with it, hardware, software. It came with an antivirus program, PC-Cillin95. I little dog used to run back and fro on the screen during the scan :) It was a very efficient program. Years past, I still use PC-Cillin, by Trendmicro (www.antivirus.com) I put a flash virus alert at the end of the page free from their page. If you are planning to buy an antivirus program, i highly suggest you wait for its new version, coming up in a month or so I reckon. Stay away from Norton. Don't think it is the best because it is the most pouplar. No way. Another good one is Bit Defender. But i favour PC-Cillin. My version is called "Internet Security", firewall, antivirus, antispam, antispy, privacy protection, Wi-Fi protection, all together. Value for money, highest protection. I have just thought of something. I am going to write an email to Trendmicro people and ask for that dog animation in PC-Cillin95 :) Here I go....

Blog'umu iki dilde yazmaya karar verdi, Turkce ve Ingilizce. Bu kararimdaki asil neden Turkce'yi sevmem. Anadilimi iyi kullanmak durumunda hissetmisimdir hep kendimi. Bence oyle de olmali herkes icin. Iyi kullanirdim da aslinda. Ama ozellikle Ingiltere'ye geldigimden bu yana kotuye gidiyor. Burasi Turkce'min iyi kalmasi icin bir ortam da olacak benim icin.

Ilk bilgisayarim bir Commodore 64 idi. Bilgisayarla ilgili temel ve ilk seyleri onda ogrendim, BASIC programlama dili mesela. Neler yapmadim ki... Saatlerce oyun oynardim. TV'yi isgal ederdim tabii. Babam haric evdeki herkesi de sinir ederdim :D Sonunda bir monitor alindi, o da Commodore. Hala evde ve gayet guzel calisiyor. Ikinci bir televizyon olarak hizmet veriyor su anda :) Commodore'daki oyunlarla ilgili anilarimi anlatacagim mutlaka... Sonraki bilgisayarim bir Acer Aspire idi. Cok guzel bir bilgisayardi. Antivirus programi olarak PC-Cillin95 adli bir programla birlikte gelmisti, Trendmicro (www.antivirus.com) firmasinin urettigi.. Tarama sirasinda ekranda sevimli bir kopek saga sola kosturur durudu. Aaaa bak aklima ne geldi. Simdi PC-Cillin'i yapan sirkete bir email atip o kosan kopegin animasyonunu isteyecegim. Bakalim ne olacak. Simdi yaziyorum.

Yazdim ve gonderdim :)

Eger bir antivirus programi alacaksaniz kesinlikle PC-Cillin'i tavsiye ederim, paketin icinde hersey var: Firewall, Wi-Fi koruma, antispam, privacy korumasi vb. Norton cok populer diye en iyisidir diye dusunmeyin. Ve tavsiyem, Norton'dan uzak durun, bilgisayarinizin kaynaklarindan gereksiz yere cok fazla kullanacaktir. Neyse....
